Our Covenant

Worship inside Trinity
  • We, the members of Trinity Church, of Morton, Illinois, declare our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord, and confess that we have been born anew by the Holy Spirit. 
  • We commit ourselves to the obedience of Scriptures and are open for continued instruction from the Word and the Church.
  • We are committed to each other as brothers and sisters in Christ and to walk together in Christian love.
  • We promise to support the cause of Christ through this congregation with our prayers, regular attendance, tithes and offerings, spiritual gifts, talents, and counsel.  In seeking to be a disciplined church, we agree to walk together, and watch over each other, as taught by Jesus in Mathew 18.
  • We covenant to represent Christ and His Church in our homes, community and the world by being a visible demonstration of the Kingdom of God.  We will seek to do this in word and deed.  It is because we believe in Jesus Christ and His Church that we enter this covenant.
