All of scripture is to be interpreted from the perspective of the New or “Christic” Covenant. Old Testament or New Testament, History, Law or Prophecy – all of it is about and for Jesus Christ. It should point us to Him and reveal more of Him to us – drawing us into deeper relationship or KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST instead of just information about God.

This first session is focused on what Hermeneutics is, the types of hermeneutical frameworks available, and why we use the framework we do. It will lay the groundwork for the rest of the series which focuses on developing the tools/techniques to apply a Christic Biblical Hermeneutic to stories and passages of Old Testament scripture.
